Starting your EBC tour from Lhasa, you can walk around the landmarks of Tibet - Potala Palace, the spiritual heart of Tibetan Buddhism - Jokhang Temple, the pilgrimage kora - Barkhor Street, two famous Gelugpa Monasteries of Drepung and Sera in the first three days, and then travel along Friendship Highway to take the stunning shots of Yamdrok Lake, explore the mysterious Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum, visit the home of Panchan Lama - Tashilhunpo Monastery, enjoy the panorama of Himalaya at Gawula Pass, and finally get to Everest Base Camp. If weather and time allow, you’re likely to capture the amazing sunset and sunrise over the pyramid-shaped Mt. Everest. After exploring the world’s highest monastery - Rongbuk Monastery, you can choose to go back to Lhasa, head west to Mount Kailash or south to Kathmandu, Nepal.
