Kailash Tour

Traveling from Lhasa to Kailash along Friendship Highway G318 and Xijiang Tibet Highway G219, you’ll come to visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Drepung, and Sera Monastery, Yamdrok Lake, Pelcho Monastery and Gyangtse Kumbum, Tashilhunpo Monastery, Mount Everest Base Camp, Rongbuk Monastery, Lake Manasarovar in order and then get to Darchen, the starting point of Kailash Kora.
Generally speaking, the 52km’s Kailash trek can be divided into 3 parts: the first day for 20km’s Darchen-Drirapuk trek, the second day for 18km’s Drirapuk-Dzutrpuk trek, and the third day for 14km’s Dzutripuk-Darchen trek. With the professional guidance of our local Tibetan tour guide, not only can you witness the alpine scenery of Western Tibet but also feel the pilgrims’ sincerity to holy Mount Kailash.
